Welcome to

Canterbury Water Polo Club

Canterbury Water Polo was founded after the Christchurch earthquakes, arising from the need to unify the two existing water polo clubs into one strong, community focused organisation. Today, we continue to grow and thrive, offering opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels.

Our home base includes the excellent facilities at Jellie Park and Taiora QEII Council Recreation Centre, and soon to be new Parakiore Recreation and Sport Centre where we run our training sessions, competitions, and development programs.
